Welcome to the 2023 Our Lady of Sorrows Carnival!

The Carnival will be held September 29, 30 & October 1

The Carnival is one of the largest fundraising events for our parish. The parish relies on the money raised to help maintain their facilities and fund youth programs. There are many creative ways that you can participate and we hope that you will contribute in any or all of the following ways:

Volunteer your time and talents: We can use your help in setting up before the event, helping in a game, crafts, setup of tables and chairs, and breaking down the booths after the event, etc. We encourage you to provide flyers at establishments you, your friends and family members frequent so that they can spread the word about the carnival. We would be grateful for any time you can give.

Contribute items: Perhaps you can donate to the flea market items such as new or gently used children's toys, household items, decorative pieces, music, costume jewelry and household appliances in working condition.  We can only accept donations until Friday, September 22.  Other items to donate would be bags of rice, beans or cooking oil to name a few (see the August bulletin for donations).

*  Sorry, for reasons of public health, we never accept donations of clothing, bedding or shoes.

Come to the party and enjoy: We encourage you to invite your colleagues, friends, and family members to join us for the weekend. Its more fun when you bring a crowd and it's a great way to learn about the parish. We will be offering a limited number of discounted ride tickets when the weekend draws nearer, so be on the look out.

We are excited about this year's carnival and we look forward to a terrific weekend with food, games, shows, family and friends. We would be thrilled for you to help us make the 2023 Our Lady of Sorrows Carnival our best yet. Don't forget to sign up after each mass to volunteer.
